Terms of Use
Effective: October 9, 2026
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of www.wrongfuldeathlawyers.com and any related pages, forms, and services (the “Site”) operated by WrongfulDeathLawyers.com (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By using the Site you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.
1. We are not a law firm
WrongfulDeathLawyers.com is an attorney advertising platform. We are not a law firm, we do not provide legal advice, and we are not a lawyer referral service. We do not evaluate your claim, recommend or endorse any attorney, or decide which attorney is right for you. Participating attorneys pay us to advertise and to receive inquiries submitted through the Site. Information on the Site is general and educational, may not reflect the law in your jurisdiction, and is not a substitute for advice from a licensed attorney.
2. No attorney-client relationship
Using the Site, submitting a form, or communicating with us does not create an attorney-client relationship with us or with any attorney. An attorney-client relationship is formed only when you and an attorney both agree to it, usually in a signed engagement agreement. Until then, do not send confidential or time-sensitive information. Legal claims, including wrongful death claims, are subject to strict deadlines (statutes of limitations). Do not delay seeking legal advice because you submitted a request through the Site.
3. How the service works
When you submit a case review request, you tell us the state where the matter arose and some basic information about what happened. We share your request with one or more participating attorneys who advertise in that state. Those attorneys may contact you directly. Each attorney is independent and solely responsible for their own legal services, communications, fees, conflict checks, and compliance with the rules of professional conduct. We do not guarantee that an attorney will contact you, accept your case, or obtain any particular result.
4. Eligibility and your information
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Site. You agree to provide true, accurate, and current information and to submit requests only on your own behalf or on behalf of someone you are authorized to represent. You may not submit information about another person without authority to do so.
5. Consent to contact
By submitting a request, you agree to be contacted as described in our Consent to Contact. Your consent is not a condition of any purchase or of receiving legal services.
6. Acceptable use
- Do not submit false, misleading, fraudulent, or spam requests.
- Do not use the Site for any unlawful purpose or to harass any person.
- Do not scrape, copy, or harvest data from the Site, or interfere with its security or operation.
- Do not reverse engineer, frame, or mirror any part of the Site without our written permission.
7. Intellectual property
The Site and its content, design, logos, and trademarks are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by law. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive license to view the Site for personal, non-commercial use.
8. Third-party attorneys and websites
The Site may display information about, or link to, attorneys and third-party websites. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, services, or practices. Your dealings with any attorney are solely between you and that attorney.
9. Disclaimer of warranties
THE SITE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THE QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, OR PERFORMANCE OF ANY ATTORNEY.
10. Limitation of liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS ARISING FROM ANY ATTORNEY'S ACTS OR OMISSIONS OR FROM A MISSED DEADLINE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SITE WILL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (US$100). Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of these may not apply to you.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising out of your misuse of the Site, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of another person.
12. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and you consent to their jurisdiction, except where applicable law gives you the right to bring claims in your home jurisdiction.
13. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Effective” date above shows when they were last revised. Continued use of the Site after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.
